FAITH@24: We Are Many, Yet We Are One

A lot has changed about FAITH Colleges over the past 24 years. Indeed, to look at our school now in the context of how it began is to see an academic community transformed. Some changes have been cosmetic. Our campus for instance, the envy of so many other schools, has certainly grown and improved over the years. The promise of an education rooted in “technology with a heart” has become supercharged now that every student has a cellphone in their pocket, leaving aside that the technologies available today could hardly be imagined 24 years ago. Even our beloved mascot—Tin Man!—appears to have gotten a glow up and become more svelte over time compared to his original look.

Yet other changes the school has undergone are more substantial. Twenty-four years later, FAITH Colleges as an educational institution is a school almost 7,000-students strong, and one from which more than 28,000 students have completed some form of studies. Our graduates are much sought after across many industries, and our influence beyond the walls of our campus grows through the partnerships and linkages we have nurtured for practically a quarter century.

On that note, the greatest difference of FAITH Colleges today compared to that 24 years ago is precisely this strength in numbers. Ultimately, we are a vibrant and growing community of people whose talents and capabilities are only limited by our imaginations. We derive our strength from our diversity, yes, but also from the many things that we have in common: From our core values of competence, commitment, and compassion as well as the many traditions we observe and hold dear as an educational institution.

We are individuals who are strong together.

We are many, yet we are one.

Let us commemorate and celebrate the 24th year of our school’s foundation with a spirit of togetherness, ever aware that each of our achievements contribute to the continuing development and evolution of our school and community:

One Mind.

One Heart.

One FAITH.

Always.
